Lifetime Cancels Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Show ‘The Client List’ | Haider Rifaat

The hit television show, ‘The Client List’ starring Jennifer Love Hewitt has been officially cancelled today (November 2nd, 2013) by Lifetime. There were many reasons as to why the show got axed by the network, however ratings was not the main reason.

‘The Client List’ evolves around the life of a mother, Riley Parks (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt) who works at the day spa after her husband relinquishes her and his children during an ongoing crisis. After Riley begins to work at the Day Spa, she soon realizes that there are ‘other’ things also being offered on the side of the table.

In the season two finale, the show pulled in an audience of 2.09 million viewers hitting high ratings for Lifetime. The main reason why the show experienced a delay in the decision was on account of some difference of opinions. Jennifer Love Hewitt, who is expecting her first baby at this point in time, wanted the real father and co-star (Brian Hallisay) to also be the father of the fictitious child who was expected to be born as the part of season three’s storyline.

Due to these differences between the lead actress, Hewitt and Lifetime, the show was given a final verdict and was cancelled by Lifetime today.

I was really hoping for the renewal of the show as it was my latest obsession of late, however, it has now been hewed by Lifetime. Hopefully, some other network might give the show and Jennifer Love Hewitt a chance for a third season. Fingers crossed!
