Christina Aguilera Records ‘We Remain’ For ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ | Haider Rifaat

The 32-year old singer and multiple Grammy award winning legend, Christina Aguilera announced via twitter that she had recorded a song for the upcoming adventure-science fiction film, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” called “We Remain.” The song will be a part of the ‘Catching Fire Soundtrack.’ The track list of the film has been revealed. The film stars the Academy Award winner, Jennifer Lawrence in the lead as Katniss Everdeen. Lionsgate announced that Lawrence will reprise the same role in the third and fourth film of ‘The Hunger Games’ due to the film’s initial success. Other cast members include, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci. The film is set to be released in the United States on November 22nd, 2013 in IMAX.

The movie is based on the novel of Suzanne Collins called “Catching Fire.” The shooting of the film took place in Atlanta, Georgia and was later shot in Hawaii. ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ has already been nominated for two Golden Trailer Awards in the categories of ‘Best Action Poster’ and ‘Best Independent Poster.’ Will the film garner Lawrence another Academy Award nomination? Apart from the film’s exquisite cover, the singer and actress Christina Aguilera who has sung the song “We Remain” for the film can be seen as the judge in NBC’s fifth season of ‘The Voice’ alongside Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
